Pinta: A new open-source graphics program (for Linux/Windows/Mac)

GIMP has been a well-known open-source graphics program for Windows and Linux for the past few years. As a matter of fact, GIMP 2.0 comes preinstalled in Ubuntu until 10.04 (Maverick Meerkat).

Now comes “Pinta: Painting Made Simple” which is, according to the website, based on Paint.NET

Pinta is open-source and thus FREE to download.
Most graphics program nowadays are often based on Photoshop, so I don’t know yet what to expect. Will give this a try and keep you posted!
